What we are currently engineering in the lab.
Why glucosides? They cut grease without sulfates. Made from coconut oil and sugar, they're readily biodegradable. Our precise pairing emulsifies grease, builds foam and rinses clean.
Preserved with hinokitiol, extracted from the cypress heartwood used in Japanese temples that have stood for over 800 years. It protects the concentrate from microbial growth.
Two teaspoons of concentrate, topped up with tap water, fill a 500 ml spray bottle. One 500 ml can does that 50 times.

CAS No. 7732-18-5
The carrier. It holds everything else in solution. Some of it arrives with the glucosides, which are supplied as water-based solutions.
CAS No. 68515-73-1
A short-chain surfactant: a coconut-derived fatty alcohol joined to sugar. It works as a wetting agent and coupler, so it spreads across a surface fast and helps keep the other ingredients dissolved together in a concentrate.
CAS No. 141464-42-8
The same coconut-and-sugar chemistry with longer, more varied chains. It's the cleansing and foaming partner to Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside: one wets and couples, the other lifts grease and builds foam.
CAS No. 51981-21-6
A chelator. Calcium and magnesium in hard water can leave scale and film and weaken cleaning. GLDA binds those minerals first. It's made from plant sugars and is readily biodegradable.
CAS No. 64-17-5
A solvent, at roughly 1-3% of the concentrate. Hinokitiol barely dissolves in water (about 1.2 g/L in cold water against about 20 g/L in ethanol), so a little ethanol is what puts it into solution.

The preservative. Extracted from cypress heartwood, it protects the concentrate from microbial growth and contributes the scent. It works by binding metals, such as iron, that microbes need to grow.

1. Data Collection: We collect your first name and email address when you join the list or pay a deposit. If you arrive from a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad and join the list, we also receive the click and browser IDs Meta stores in your cookies. Payment data is captured directly and securely by Stripe to process your one-time deposit. We never store, see, or keep your credit card information.
2. Data Use: We use your email to manage your deposit, send you progress updates, and measure our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. When you pay a deposit, we turn your email into a scrambled code before sending it to Meta, so Meta receives only that code, not your email. Meta uses it to match your deposit to the ad that led to it. We will never sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Security: Your email is stored using secure digital safeguards. Stripe handles all transaction security using industry-standard encryption.
